A big decision needs to be made
First of all, I'm very proud of our boys tonight but it's time for Ross to make a big decision. Based on tonights effort there is a certain tall forward who I'm not sure should make our side.
I'm talking of course about Nick Riewoldt. Can we afford to bring him back into this side? Surely we
can't make any changeS to this current side?
Thoughts?

While I suspect this to be true. With the club being equal top of the ladder on points, surely taking some extra time isn't going to hurt. The club will no doubt to their due dilligence, but still, a few extra weeks couldn't hurt. On the flip side, if he is ready... well why not.mullet wrote:Rooey will play next week, mark my words. I think Ross wont rush him back, he most likely will keep Kosi out there when Roo does comes back and put Stanley back to Sandy. Rhys has had a taste of the bigtime and when the time is right he will come back to the seniors physically and mentally stronger.

If you are a good little boy, maybe he will read the stories to you at bed time.plugger66 wrote:When have I ever said that? You obviously have little time for me but please dont make up stories.BallBanger wrote:Having a shot those (P66 etc) who continually think you do not change a winning side....

We obviously can't afford to bring him back into the side.#1GILL wrote:First of all, I'm very proud of our boys tonight but it's time for Ross to make a big decision. Based on tonights effort there is a certain tall forward who I'm not sure should make our side.

The last game he played, he didn't get after half time.
Like everyone else he is going to have to play well for Sandringham and wait for his chance to open up!!
Seriously though, how exciting is it that his return is imminent and we find ourselves safe inside the top 4 and level on top and having just knocked off the cats for good measure.
Belief is building, c'mon sainters, keep doing what you are doing!!!

My guess is that his first opportunity will be Rd 16.#1GILL wrote:The thing is, we play at the gabba in round 15, not exactly the perfect ground to return from a hamstring injury is it?
I would say round 14 is the favourite at this Stage, followed by round 16.
I do hope he is back by round 15 though as my dad and I are flying up for this one. Can't wait!
If he is right to play next week, they'll give it another week and in that case I don't think they'll fly him to QLD for his first game.
I'm heading up to the Gabbatoir too, it will be great to register our first win their for a few years and third ever.
