SAINTS another day older another day closer to the Holy Grail!
So many contributors. This is virtually impossible. But I'll have a crack.
5. Gwilt
4. Fisher
3. Dal Santo
2. Schneider
1. Hayes (14 tackles - immense)
With humble apologies to: Jack Steven, Joey, Gilbo, Fray, Gards, BJ.
Special mention to Andrew McQualter 23 possessions - gotta be a record? Good on ya Mini!!!
To illustrate how difficult it is to pick just five players tonight - Rhys Stanley - least possessions on the ground of the saints, but did some critical things tonight that won't appear on the stats sheet.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

I can't give 5 separate votes tonight.
Trailing by 16 at the half and winning by 24. A 40 point turnaround where no-one should be singled out.
Gwilt played his best game for the club and Schneider kicked truly this time on a wet MCG, as he did against us in 2005.
On nights like this I like to quote Stephen Kernahan...
"We are the best, f... the rest."

Apologies to just about the whole team. It was a real team performance.
