Well, the MCC are gunning for 70,000 but with areas of rain now expected from the morning, it is increasingly looking like a wet pitch, and possibly wet at night also.....dunno if they factored in the rain??

I'm tipping 65 000 with the weather

Let me guess......once it was in the early 90's at the MCG vs the Filth I think?
Perhaps a game at VFL park??

If the Frankston bound train is stranded at Richmond station there might be 100,000 plus.....

With the Ch9 ploy working to derail the hype around game you might be right...dcstkfc wrote:World Cup Fever taking overiwantmeseats wrote:Pitch??saintspremiers wrote:Well, the MCC are gunning for 70,000 but with areas of rain now expected from the morning, it is increasingly looking like a wet pitch, and possibly wet at night also.....dunno if they factored in the rain??

Seems fair taking ficke nature of Saints fans (ahem - sooks!) and weather
We would've budgetted for a huge profit from this game, dunno home many $$$ but fairly significant.
A crowd well below budget will have a big effect on our end of year results *UNLESS we win the flag of course!

hmmmm......only 58K, typical stay at home soft Saints fans to blame yet again.
Should've got about 5K more IMO even given the rain.
Had it been a fine day and night, we would've got 70K I reckon.
The cost to the club's profit is probably about $100K.
But the 4 points are pretty handy!
