Watch how Geelong bleeds
Remember it for when it counts.
The pressure and intensity ripped apart their shithouse forwardline of Posdhackly and Mooney.
Epic win sainters.

Looks like the jPod ran out of battery. Mooney is scum through and through.
Absolutly loved Abblett on the bench in the last quarter saying "what the hell is going on here"

They cracked hard tonight. They couldn't handle the pressure of "Saints Footy".

My mistake...philip wrote:Ummm, the game I watched had Gwilt on him and Blake on Mooney.bigred wrote:JPod got owned tonight.
Blake bent him over the fence and pointed to Werribee.

Was posted on an iphone...that is my only defence

That's why you think the premiership is already won.wraiyth wrote:Shithouse Pods? I'd take him over Kosi with the year they've both had...

Remember, Chappy a big out for them. Always worth 3-4 goals against us.
Pods was always gonna struggle as a forward in the wet, as did our big guys. Now we know there's no other type of game in him, at least Kosi can crash packs, ruck and gather possies around the ground.
Baker shut down Stevie J and Gwilt produced the best game of his career (well, at least since 2005), which helped a lot. Great to see some young guys stepping up, so we know they've got it in them.
Bloody awesome effort.

Lets celebrate the win big time but not get ahead of ourselves. Mooney and Scarlett first game back. Johnson carrying a bigger gut than i've got and Kelly,Chapman ,Hawkins and Corey to come back. Still you can only beat who you are playing so hopefully we have bagging rights till september and hopefully another six months after that. Great effort men

Chappy is a massive out for them.
Dunno if I would give him a four goal start though.
Either way, both sides were not fielding their best 22...
Was a great team effort from our boys though.
Sure it's great that Steven bobs up for a surprise burst, but hey...right place, right time. Really tough, focussed team effort.
Talk of flags is silly, but we are in a great position to get into a GF again..
Remember just how hard it is to make the damn GF...Let alone win one.
I still dont think we have played our best footy.

No Roo, no Dawson, no Gram.
Fair outs for us I would have thought...
Kelly was not missed. Chapman was.
Still, we win. Get f***ed.

I HONESTLY believe tonight was a switch of the guard. Geelong scoreless in the third quarter and three points for the second half.SainterK wrote:Admirable team though, that's why our matches are so immense....
Tonight opened my eyes to just how big the gap still is between 1 and 2 and the rest...when both of us play at our best, ripping contest.
Think it through.
Our system came of age.
Let them chase. We are on.

Felt a bit like that to me too, maybe it was the speechless commentators at the end of the game. I can't discount the Cats' injury toll though...but maybe it's their 2005 and they never get the full team on the park? Not like it wouldn't be karma.Thinline wrote:I HONESTLY believe tonight was a switch of the guard.
