its not a Grand Final so he is still suspect. Thats would be the reply (even thought when Thomas would know about AFL Grand Finals is anyones guess)

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. And before the "expert" commentator says that they were soft goals.... momentum had swung back to Freo after the Saints dominated but had stalled... and then 44 ripped them apart with 3 goals.

Good sold work by 44 throughout the first half includinga ripper of a spoil in the backline.

We should be thanking Grant for the added negative encouragement. Why should an ex-coach post negative opinions about a current player?

Milne kicked 4 goals. Thanks Grant.

The trouble is though; Grant will take credit for firing Milney up to perform.
It's sad in a way.

I fully expect him to say he'll reserve judgment until the finals, because that is what he has been saying all along. For all his many faults and his well publicised and ill timed comments....he is consistent.

It was about playing well interstate mainly.

Grant wanted to drop Milne for the game against Port (at home) after he kicked 11 against the Lions at Docklands. It wasn't a final.

:?:

Milne kicked 11 against Brisbane in Round 22 2005. The next game was a Qualifying final against Adelaide in Adelaide.

I stand corrected.
It would have made headlines if he had been dropped.

Well GT is correct however in recent times Milne has done well interstate but had howlers in final after final.

GT might mention the game goes for 4 quarters and not 2......

would've liked to see Milne kick a goal after half time...

Will we pick up a player in the SSP window :?:

Whilst kicking goals/goal assists is a primary focus for him (for the team) there would appear to be many other areas he is supposed to focus on.

Seemingly the Coaches were satisfied with his game.

Maybe the fact he required Freo to send their #1 tallish defender to him was of sufficient value to us?
After half time Tarrant was moved back on him adn whilst Milney didn't kick any goals during our 3 goal run in the third, I didn't see much of Tarrant in teh play either?

IMO, our gameplan seems to require our forwards to focus as much on defensive efforts as kicking goals.
