raphs hammy
Why did we play him ? His hammy was suspect last week and now he's done it ! Is it because we have no one capable of filling his role in the reserves? Hmmmmm filling his roll ..... aarrghhhhh

There was a lot of speculation about his hammy after the last game, but nearly all of it was on this site!mr six o'clock wrote:Why did we play him ? I trust those close to the action to know best and they must have thought he was okay.
May be just one of those things.

Last year Max Hudghton's body became to unreliable to risk playing in the finals.
He was always a great player when fit.
But his body could not be trusted not to do a soft tissue injury early in the game and so hamper the teams prospects.
Raph Clarke's hamstrings are reaching the same levels.
Raph is definitely in St Kilda's best 22 when fit.
But can the club afford to play him in a final when his hamstrings have a 20% chance of failing in any given match.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

let's hope our medical staff can pinpoint the reason it keeps happening and stop it.

Great expert commentary, a player goes missing for 2 quarters and they finally wake up, that he has been sitting on the bench in his track suit for 2 quarters.bigcarl wrote:yes, that was pissweak.kosifantutti23 wrote:Kudos to the commentators for finally spotting this in the last quarter.

We missed him greatly, his run off half back can be valuable and his ability to get back to help out a team mate in a marking contest is life saving.bigcarl wrote:i thought we missed raph a lot today when he came off and would have won much more easily with him.ace wrote:Raph Clarke's hamstrings are reaching the same levels.

Unfortunately the reason for his problem is so obvious.
His hamstrings have gone twang so many times they are made out of scar tissue.
