Thought it was his best game for the club so far. He may have turned the corner.

He's relatively quick, finds space well - but I find that his finishing is suspect when it comes to kicking to a forward target or towards goal. I reckon he would have scored about 2.10 this year if you include out-of-bounds etc.

I think that sometimes it is not about how well they run but in our structure it is where they run to.

Looking forward to seeing him improve and become a vital cog especially given that Gram is still out

said the same thing about him in a post last week

he's definitely getting better every game

some of his disposals are a bit ordinary , but look how Grammy is improving that aspect of his similar/valuable running role

Starting to play our style a lot better - not always just bombing to a contest.
Needs some serious practice work on his left foot kicking. As Bev said - getting better each week.

He is improving.

Disposal is still not up to standard.

Perhaps a bit better than Fiora though.

anyone listening to SEN? they talked in detail about peakey. they were saying how hes pretty good but his kicking on the run is woeful. they reckon he needs to steady and slow up a tad as he kicks and kick through it. they reckon he kind of drops it on his boot at full pace. this is probably something he can improve in spite of his age. needs to practice it and think about it.

i still reckon hes important for us. we will need his run in september badly.

With his run, filling in for Gram. Doing a good job in that department. His kicking is shocking however, his delivery into the foward line cost us a couple of certain goals on Sunday.

Yes I heard that.

Often when he kicks he seems to really get under the ball causing it to go high and short...rather than long and flatter.

If they could just improve his action to kick it more normally he would get greater distance

= more goals on the run

= better delivery to team-mates.

I think Gram had a similar problem when running flat out that he would shank some kicks. Gram has improved.

Let's hope that they get a kicking coach to work with Peake on this.
