Who would you rather have as a player in your team if in their prime?
GT or Milne?

Who has contributed more as a player to St. Kilda?
Milne>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>GT

Sheesh, imagine the noise GT would make if HE had have played 200+ games and kicked over 400 goals?

I am a big GT fan, but I gotta say, this is the first time he has disappointed me. I never picked him as a knocker. If he wants to talk about unrealised playing potential, he should start with himself.

Why would he talk about himself?

I reckon if he was telephoned by the Herald-Sun and asked about himself as a player, he'd probably happily talk about it.

But in this case, he was asked about Milne as a player.

I for one, think it's great that a football 'commentator' in this day and age, still calls it as he sees it.

I keep reading threads moaning about the bias from Luke Darcy and James Hird towards their old clubs, but now we hear from a guy talking about his old club in a non-bias manner and everyone is reaching for the tissues.

What do you mean?

Should I pretend that I didn't see it? (if it hadn't been posted I wouldn't have).

I dont want GT to shut up, the more he says the more he reveals about himself.

He is free top give an opinion... I'm free to comment on it.

If that bothers you enough for you to crawl out from under your rock and post in his defence, then that is truly regrettable.

Well said comrade.

I find it amusing when some posters come on and think they can control what other posters want to post about.

Did anybody say that dial-a-quote Thomas couldn't express his bitter tired boring opinion?

But some what to stifle debate on the subject.

Why would that be I wonder?

Oh well back to mixing the Kool Aid.

Lance or James??

I have defended GT for a long long time but he is out of line with this. Reckon he has ever thought he didn't get the best out of Milne? It's no co-incidence Milne is a much better player under Lyon. Get stuffed Thomas. You were far from perfect. I'm so glad you don't coach us anymore. And also, if you were the through and through St Kilda person you reckon you are, you would just shut up. Especially on the eve of a great milestone of a wonderful player.

I'm merely laughing out loud at the consistent crying whenever he says anything!

It's deadset hilarious. The ownership he has over so many on here is ust rich beyond belief.

Oooooooh, GT ruined my life!!

Oooooh dear, that monster is so mean I know his character now and he's a dastardly monster!!

So, so funny.

How low can GT go. Shows no respect for our club or our players. I am sick to death of him having a go at St Kilda who he surposedly stilll loves, yeah right. And he should talk. GT was a s*** player, a s*** coach and is now a s*** journalist. Get over yourself and pull your head in

You really think that RF?

Are you really so passionate about what others write or think about someone?

Why all the hyperbole? Its only a football forum.

Why take your posts to such extremes?

Curious indeed 8-)

I see humour in lots of things.

In particular, when people make fools of themselves. Even moreso when there w@nkers who take themselves very seriously.

Very, very entertaining indeed.

Hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha....

GT would have to try much harder to ruin my morning coffee, let alone my life.

Let go dodge... we are free to not love the one you love.

And there's only one pickle taking himself too seriously here.

Is it just me, or is this guy just dial a quote now or what...

Could have just said something like...."Grats on the 200 Milney. If I had my way you never would have made it".

But no....just a coupla cheap shots before his milestone...

Classy.
2006 is now a long time ago. he has nothing new to say. i wish the press would stop asking him already. they might as well as stan alves regarding players. its only 13 years since we had him as coach.

Ha!

Why would they? Every time he wipes his date down instead of up a 5 page thread appears on here about it!

Even linked to the newspapers in question!

And so it starts.

All too predictable.

If making a negative comment about a player or the club means you "don't love the club", then I would suggest most here "love" St Kilda as much as Collingwood supporters.

Er... who wrote that?

But yes, the press quote him because it creates a 'buzz' on SS.

Oh yeah, and Hahahahahahahahaha..... Haaaa.

Wrong comrade it is actually

MWAHAHAHAHAHA - BWAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What a strange defence of Grant Thomas by RodgerFox.

It is incredibly OTT and hyperbolic.

very curious indeed.

Apparently nobody on a St.kilda football forum can talk about a topic involving a much loved player.

How strange and bewildering :? :?

The most strange and bewildering thing to me is why ANYONE would want to write a critical article of ANY player on the eve of his 200th game? To play 200 games at any level is a pretty good effort - at AFL level it's a great effort. Why the Hun, GT or hoever can't focus on that is beyond me Milney's had more than his fair share of critical articles written about him, why another one on the eve of his 200th game?

They/he does it because it's good for a 5 page thread on SS.

That's the big indicator of how relevant you are, apparently.

And yup comrade JB, it is rather curious!...

Pretend laughter and feigned 'amusement' aside, he takes it all quite personally... which, if he is not GT or closely related to GT, is very sad.

Meh, he WAS good for us to a point, then we had divine intervention in dodging a bullet and finding a real football brain like RL to get all serious on our arses. We were/are LUCKY!
