I like this stat....

Richmond’s recent record against St Kilda is awful, the Tigers having been beaten 11 times in a row by the Saints, including last year’s effort in which they failed to score in the second and third quarters.

But you all told me that is why we would beat Carlton a couple of weeks ago

This is a danger game, but a game that we MUST WIN.

If we really are a contender, these are games that HAVE TO BE WON.

They are an in form team, wins and losses don't always dictate that correctly.

However maybe they will do a Melb, and rest some of their young stars and say it was scheduled? :)

Positive for us if we can keep it up, we had 10 individual goal kickers on the weekend, while they had 4 and almost half were Jack.

Dare I say it....

No Riewoldt, no Tigers?

I am hoping that after their game in the wet last week a lot of collisions and tackles and bumps that they are a sore lot at Richmond.

I think more than anywhere their relative lack of skill will be found out at Etihad where they haven't played so far this year.

On paper, this should be a big win. Let's just hope the players don't get too 'excited' again.

Let's not forget they played in the mud and slush last week, very draining on the legs.
Just like playing in Darwin is very draining due to the humidity, heard some players lost up to 4 kilos through sweat.

Every game has the potential to be a danger game I suppose, but I cant work out why this is a danger game !!

If we cant beat Richmond by 6-8 goals I fear for the rest of the season. We 're playing a bunch of inexperienced kids who will be sore from last weeks slog in the wet.

IMO the recipes there for a flogging.

P.S. I have a carton of Corona on Saints winning with a 29.5 point start

Mark my words they have their tails up and if we take them lightly they will give us an almighty run for our money.

Hit em hard, hit em quick and hit em often. Same intensity as if we were playing Geelong

I think or hope that they will be exhausted after last week's slog in the AAMI swimming pool. 150+ tackles. They may take it to us in the first half but I predict fatigue will set in. If we don't have a big win, we have some issues to sort out.

No question the Tigers will come out full of beans, but we have too much class to be rolled by a bunch of kids and triers.

It may well be close for a while but we should post a win in the 7-10 goal region.

Last weeks game was possibly the only way the Tigers could have won. It wasn't just wet it was a lake! Just hard, tough footy where foot skills don't come into it, but, it was one hell of a slog!

We normally have worked sides over by the last quarter, and I expect Richmond will be out on their feet by halftime. Should be a big win and this isn't a danger game, its a game that if we lose, we don't deserve to be a finals contender.

I don't think a team has ever won the week after a trip to darwin - add to the conditions last week and a tigers win was better than an even money bet.
if this game isn't a gimme, then no game is. we need to win it and win it well - and give kosi a memorable 150th against the rabble.
