I am sure he will to.

Maybe Heyne out, and that would be it.

Wouldnt be surprised if there were no changes (barring injury of course)

After only 60% game time this week I think Ross has had enough of Zac.

Mini needs a rest.

Steven and Geary or Eddy to come in.

McQualter will be out this week.

Is going nowhere fast as a HFF right now.

Mini I can cope with but I really hope Ross persists with Stanley and Heyne - I hate it when new players come for 1 week then disappear. Very little to be learnt from 1 game - it'd be pretty much a blurr with the adrenalin pumping. Give these guys a few weeks to get a proper feel for it.

BigMart, no offence - but what are you on?

We had a decent win, and you are calling for 3 outs, with no big names returning.

Fair Dinkum!

i agree with you on that one. considering they are a very top heavy team (the eagles) it was surprising at how little time he had on the ground.

I see that mini will be competing with Nick Heyne & Tom Lynch for that HFF spot in the not too distant future. May the best man win !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Didn't know Zac only had 60%. Very interesting.

Mini has run out of tickets. We have a plethora of players who could play his role. Heyne, Geary, Steven, Eddy, Lynch.... give them a shot.

For his stats, he may as well have had 6% game time.

Are Gilbo and Armo in?

Lance or James??

Well that's what happened with Eddy this year, one game (quite a good one IMO) then tipped out...

From my understanding there will be a major out later on this year.

Question for the masses and specifically for BigMart as well:

What do people think the right balance of kids is in a side expected to consistently be able to compete and win? Regardless of other impact like gameplans, or of the necessary outs to get those kids into the side.

Right now, we're looking to Armitage (26 games), Geary (33 games), Eddy (24 games), Steven (3 games), Heyne (2 games), Stanley (1 game), McEvoy (16 games) to be able to provide AFL grade talent at some stage in our future. One can probably add Lynch to that list. The oldest of the group is Essy at 22, and both Armo and Geary will turn 22 this year.

Consistency tends not to be present in the 18-22, < 50 game players... but the only way they get those games is to play those games. In the case of Armitage, McEvoy, Geary and Eddy, they seem to be at the "tweener" stage of being ready.. but inconsistent.

Form or forcing, what would people here do? For mine, other than the glaring absence of a certain superstar CHF, the balance isn't bad - selecting McEvoy on form as well as necessity, and a couple of developers gives some room for kids to have bad days, but if you get up to 5, then it becomes tougher to carry them and expect to win.
