29. Moved out here from England in 1980 and went to my first game of footy with some of the lads from my high school. First game was St Kilda vs Geelong at VFL park. We lost quite badly as I remember but that underdog spirit sat well with me and I have been a fan ever since.

As proof of the underdog love I was a West Ham supporter growing up in England.

Saw my first game two days after arriving in 1966 from England. Understood nothing of what seemed at the time like legalised thuggery. (We were playing Hawthorn) Then saw Darrel Baldock come on the field in the third quarter and he was involved in play nearby. The Doc exhibited his undeniable wizardry right in front of me. A moment I will never forget. I immediately understood footy and have been a Saints fan ever since. Like all my family, including my partner and my son, who may even be more tragic than I.

33. Linton Street Oval.

My family dragged me along there in a pram.

Got my football education and one eye situation developed either in the members or in the outer, in between the scoreboard and time clock.

I will remember that place fondly until the day I die.

37. Always followed the underdog. Saints were last on the ladder when it came time for me to pick a team (late 1977)

No arguing just tell your partner how its going to be a Saints family end of story.

Oh and I just love the saints but was born into it, the whole family are now sainters and getting bigger as the kids/grandkids come along.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)
