I reckon with out mid field playing well tonight we would be 10 goals down. Dal, Lenny and Joey are our best 3 apart from Milne who apparently cant travel.
Dal, Joey and Lenny currently have 25% of our posessions between them

Farren Ray 10 touches..all handpasses

McQualter 2 posessions

Gardiner 2 posessions..0 marks

Gwilt playing very well, strong , composed and skilful

Zac..........a joke

Heyne needs to give us something

We look better structure - wise with Stanley there

McEvoy having a bit of influence

If we stop kicking out on the full, we could win this.

goddard to ff in the second half is an absolute no brainer in my opinion.

we're dominating around the ground but cannot put it on the board. another four goals in the second half isn't going to win it for us.

throw kosi in the ruck. he is a low percentage option at ff and isn't a good enough forward to be the main focal point.

Skills poor terrible game to watch. Had plenty of the ball but delivery is terrible.

McQualter terrible, Dawson aweful. Gilbert foot skills poor.
HAyes Dal Mont and Raph but 1 bad kick ok. McEvoy doing alright against 2 good ruck.

NEed - better ball use, BEtter goal kicking and less turnovers

Disposal, particularly by foot, is preventing us from putting our dominance on the scoreboard.

Also, its evident that our forward pressure is nowhere as effective as it was last year.

200 possessions and 1 shot goal from our midfield says it all about our gameplan

Do our midfielders actually enter our forwardline???

i agree with that. it's windy and the delivery has been poor. but the guys on the end of it are also a concern.

We've kept their two most dangerous forwards to no score and hardly a kick, and we're still behind

Gwilt has had 4 goals and 3 behinds kicked on him. Easily worst on the ground at half time but he has 2 quarters to redeem himself.

Actually, Raph, with the exception of that one kick where he had way too much time to think about it, is having a good game too.
Gilbert, Gwilt and Raph need to run and carry the ball more.
Sam Fisher needs to do something.
Schneider, put him half forward and tell him to stay there and see if he can kick some goals with his few kicks.
McQualter, best thing he could do is drop the Eagles forward and get weeks.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

you'd think it might be time to move him.

Goddard certainly needs to have an impact on the game. He's had 12 touches, but nothing to great effect. In fact a couple of real shockers trying to spot up targets inside 50.

They need to find some way to utilise Kosi. He has little impact in the forward line unless the ball is gift wrapped and served up to him on a platter. Sadly, our midfield is incapable of providing that kind of service. Perhaps we should try hitting him on the lead and hope for a "chopping the arms" free kick - it's about the only way he gets a kick these days. A run in the ruck might at least get him involved in the game.

No because we have 3 defenders who can't move the ball forward. Blake, Dawson and Baker's kicks can't be trusted when hitting up someone ahead of the play that's why BJ & Dal have to spend so much time there.
