I dont think game style has anything to do with poor skills.BigMart wrote:How does everyone see our game style now???
another quarter and hardly a goal kicked....at least we will hang in there and have a shot in the second half if we have no intention of scoring..

We are very boring to watch and we need to play with more flair and take the other team on. I can handle mistakes if we play more attacking.BigMart wrote:How does everyone see our game style now???

Nothing wrong with the forwards its the forward entries that are the problem.3rd generation saint wrote:Right now, we absolutely suck, do we have a forward line? Do we have any forwards?
Do they do skills training? Keep playing like this we will struggle to win any games let alone make the finals.
Come on Saints find some frigging form!!!!!

Solid in defense, winning our fair share through the middle, but cannot hit a target inside 50. From there, we lack the forward pressure we had last year and consequently the ball rebounds out too quickly. This puts pressure on our "one paced" to stop their run before it moves too quickly and easily into their forward line.BigMart wrote:How does everyone see our game style now???

Key areas for improvement - delivery inside 50 and forward pressure.

Wow, this is frustrating.
Like last week, so much of the footy, but nothing done with it, and then the Eagles still look the more dangerous side when running forward with plenty of space ahead...just wonder if they have the personnel to pull off what Essendon did last week (assuming this trend continues)?
And Priddis is starting to get away from Jones...

Agree. Game style would be fine if we stopped turing it over. And if we kick our shots. Milne should have had that kick, but he passed. Peake should have nailed it. Gotta take your chances.plugger66 wrote:I dont think game style has anything to do with poor skills.BigMart wrote:How does everyone see our game style now???

I would like to know how the skills can drop so much over a few weeks, surely its not all due to Roo`s injuryplugger66 wrote:I dont think game style has anything to do with poor skills.BigMart wrote:How does everyone see our game style now???
