watching Luke Ball dominate for a winning team...whilst our midfield is losing tackle counts and contested ball....

be nice for lenny to have some support.....

wonder if we can trade him back like Trent Croad....

This trading period could not be any worse....well unless the extremely talented Clarke gets fit...then we will really look stupid...

We have Zac, Lovett though.....good decisions all round...

if only someone had the foresight to see this happening in November

I never get tired of seeing Bail panic when he has the ball 40m out and kick a little 20m lollipop kick sideways for a turnover.

hasn't dominated tonight against Geelong, when he has busted his ar*e to kick over the jam tin he has turned it over....get over it ...he is not missed..

we should offload some more of our dud midfielders if we can get quality replacements...

Yeah mate sitting on the recliner watching his hand passes out of the packs to advantage is really bugging me. Dropping Armo means it's all up to Lenny again... A season like this with Lenny doing it alone may take a season or two off his career.

Winning team? Last time I looked Geelong were winning.

I'm not sure I would call his game "Dominating". A couple of things I did notice. Mr Ball was seen massaging the Right side of his groin late in the 1st Quarter. After that he seemed to go back to his old "Cover Up the OP" tactic of kicking left foot more and didn't have the confidence to take a shot from 40. It could be that the problems that reduced him to a below average footballer over the past 2-3 years are returning !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Anyone who does not think ball is playing well tonight is delusional, his work in close has been excellent. He chose to leave though Mart, should we have taken pick 30 for him, yes, this was all we were going to get and it is better than nothing.

Should we have traded for Lovett, no, hindsight a wonderful thing.

Why did Goose and X leave? Still not sure? Not exactly anyway.

Dawson was a rookie pick who earnt his spot on the senior list, might not be playing well at the moment but deserves his spot on the list, IMO.

Maybe this year?

I loved L B in RWB but now I see the flaws more than the go getter. He definitely gets the pill but he is not damaging and often puts his team mate under pressure. Never saw it when he played for us but quite obvious now.

I dont think he's been criticised "in close" but unfortunately for Ball the game is not played entirely in close so therefore he gets exposed...exactly what Ross had issues with, you can't change that pulling on a different coloured jumper..

who are we kiddding? might be an ordinary kick and a yard slow, but makes up for it with tackling and hard ball gets.
Was the heart and soul of the engine room, his work ethic rubbed off on everyone else.

I too wished for his demise but now just rue another one that got away.
Maybe ross should have tried as hard as he chased lovett to keep ball.

Whats with beams just saw him kick his 4th. Who was the qld lad we picked up in the 2nd round a few years back?????

Exactly!!!!!

Luke Ball dominate???? WTF?

I'm sick of your tireless whingeing that anything St Kilda does is a mistake, wrong or the end of the world.

While I appreciate your caught up in the Hun hype for all things Collingwood just remember that WITH this jet midfield clearance player Ball we comfortably dropped Collingwood minus the best CHF getting round.

So nah, Ive seen the same old Ball - gets it in the bottom of a pack and handballs to team mates.....whilst by foot turning it over, not able to kick 40 and running/spreading like treacle. Infact I was sick of that last year to to be honest.

Obsessed much?

Could always switch teams...that's if you would actually have to switch...

Or perhaps you could just go to a Collifilth forum and have a nice circle jerk over just how dominant Luke Ball is.

He can't kick but his clearance work is bloody good.

Credit where credit is due. His replacement in Armo has been dropped.

I am still glad he is gone because his heart wasn't with us anymore.

How good was that by Ball just then to somehow find Johnson in space?

Would walk into our side atm.

I didn't say that, I am not everyone.

I didn't say we missed him either, just made a generic comment on tonight's game. Get your facts straight.
