By having Stanley, it allows us to keep our structures

Fisher, Gilbert are named in backline...

Goddard in midfield!!

Go Saints

So Stanley gets his chance. Will be exciting to see him out there....lets hope he can handle the occasion given all the hype about him.

Hopefully the wide, open spaces of Subi will suit him.

Good luck to the kid. Let's keep our expectations in check though...1st gamer, playing at Subi, named at CHF, not an easy gig!

Armo unlucky but I think the side looks to have a nice structure about it now.

Congrats to Rhys, how exciting for him.

Ross certainly heard the jungle drums beating :)

Without Glass playing, makes me feel even better about our tall forward line.

Good luck Rhys...I don't expect Riewoldt like stats only an honest effort and hope for a great career as a Saint.

Definitely looks like a far more balanced side than recent weeks with back 6 looking a lot more settled/familiar.

Who come's out of that extended bench? Would think Geary & McEvoy retain spots. Would like to see Steven come back in (BOG at Sandy after being dropped wasn't he?) and Peake for pace on the bigger ground.

Certainly not an easy gig Sainterman.

Having said that, probably a good thing the debut's not a week later against the Crows.

Some supporters have built Rhys up to be an improved version of Riewoldt.
Given that, imagine the pressure on the kid in front of a mainly Saints crowd inside the Etihad cauldron!

Now that would be an even harder gig IMO!

Anything less than 12 marks, 14 kicks, 7 Handballs and 5 goals is fail...

:P

No pressure.

Including Goal & Mark of the Day :D

That should nearly guarantee a Rising Star nomination (though you could never be 100% sure )

Dont go by where players are named. Stanley may start on the bench.

No pressure but he better play at least as good as Riewoldt does at top form.

Lance or James??

There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)
