Reckon Stanley will play, cannot imagine the club selecting a kid in the 18 on Thursday night for his first game then leaving him out.
Armitgae does not get much of a go, reckon there were a few who have performed worse when in this year that keep getting played.

I hope the four that make the cut (I/C) are: Clarke, McEvoy, Geary & Steven
I like the idea of CJ as a forward pocket / half forward SrR...has merit.
Would also like to see Raph as a defensive winger, similar role to Ray.
Hopefully Sreven will be given an opportunity in the middle to learn off Lenny, Dal, Joey & BJ.

Armo has done little when selected as well, but they are two different players IMO.sax wrote:Would've dropped McQualtar before Armo!
He's done nothing all year!
Armo is more of an outside player, whilst Mini is more of an inside player.
Peake come in as an outside player and has more pace than Armo, which is needed on a big ground.
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!

They didn't play Armo against Carlton (very quick team) and now for the game at Subi. Horses for courses, I reckon. Looking forward to seeing Rhys! Wouldn't mind them leaving Big Mac at home, either, due to the big ground. Even someone like Blake could have a run around in the ruck.

They are both inside players but yes they are different. Mini plays pretty much permanent forward where as Armo usually plays on the ball.St Fidelius wrote:Armo has done little when selected as well, but they are two different players IMO.sax wrote:Would've dropped McQualtar before Armo!

Surely not! Who's going to play down back if Blake is in the ruck?AnythingsPossibleSaints wrote:They didn't play Armo against Carlton (very quick team) and now for the game at Subi. Re: This Weeks Team
surely we ain't gonna see stanley, kosi, gardy and b-mac in one side, especially at subi. only one named in the seven on the bench so mcevoy seems to be on the way out again.Junior wrote:St Kilda

i'd be surprised if raph came in as we looked better last week with just the six regular defenders in the side, rather than seven defenders which we'll have if he plays, so i reckon he'll be an emergency.
robert eddy played the last interstate game and wasn't that bad, and he's been good at sandy, so he must have some chance of getting a game. but i think geary's been good and ross likes mcqualter, while the pace of peake and steven will be important, so i don't think it's eddy's day this week.
IN: Peake, Stanley, Steven
OUT: Armitage, Gram (groin), McEvoy

Re: This Weeks Team
I think the final ins and outs will be:
IN: Stanley, Steven, Peake
OUT: Gram, Armo, McQualter
I think it will either be peake or clarke in depending on our game plan, if we go more defensive we will be clarke, attacking - peake.
