Hille Goddard incident

Post: # 925293Post doppler effect »

I noticed that Baker immediately came to BJ's defence after he'd been KO'd by Hille. However, from where I was sitting it looked like Bakes put one on the chin of Hille.

Did anyone see the same thing? Was Baker reported for striking?

Either way, god I love Baker!

Yes if he hit that would be really great for the team and Baker. By the way KO'd is just a little over the top.

Bakes was involved in afew incidents last night. We will find out later today if any of them are of any concern.

Probably get done for wrestling. I think he has learnt his lesson on how far he can go.

Will he miss a game for wrestling or is that only a fine?

Fines are generally issued for wrestling. I can't recall a player ever being suspended for wrestling.

It would only be 7 weeks if nobody saw it!

The Hun says Baker mentioned as being reproted fro wrestling.

Nothing about Hille-do we wait for the Match Reprot Committe to finally make a decision that should ahve been reportable at the time?

The afl website mentions the Hille report. Rough conduct !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

Hille is one of the biggest snipers in football.
Has he ever hit someone looking at him I do not think so. No worries his ex teammate Fraser will lookafter him like he did with the Bartel bump earlier this year and Fletchers elbow against Hawthorn.

This is the third time Hille has been reported this year from memory, and he has got of the other two, personally I think there is a pattern forming.

If he hit, that would not be good for him or the team.

I was saying I love Baker because he was one of the smallest guys on the field yet he still fronts up to the biggest thug on the field when his mate goes down.

Will you accept TKO'd in place of KO'd?

That's a turn up. I was sure the AFL would instead report Goddard for illegally blocking Hille's path. And then report Baker as an "accessory to the fact" because he was within 50m of the incident and simply because he's Baker.

You gotta just love the Bakes
An if you've ever pulled on a footy boot you'd know where I'm coming from 'cos you would just love to have a bloke like him alongside when the going gets tough and your on the receiving end
And given his size he always does a great job, willing to take on anyone who transgresses
we haven't heaps of others that get in and show the flag for their teamates with the physicality like he dishes out with first thought always f his mate and not himself!!
He's gold and when not out there often sorely missed!

Hille is lucky two of the players he hit were hard nuts and got up and kept playing.
