listening to the radio the Hawks are now a chance for the finals while we are gone for all money. So i figure by their reasoning if we lose another four we should be flag favorites.

Are you gonna be the one?

Yep. Wow might make the 8. What does that achieve. You need to finish top 4 and we arent going good enough to do that whatever spin you put on it.
Typical negative spineless crap!!!
Why is it crap. I want a flag not to be an also ran. Typical will be right attitude.
Luckily the Hawks didn't take that attitude into the 2008 finals series, or the Crows in 1997 and 1998!
Fail to understand the post. Please explain.

Ahh Hawks finished 2nd in 08, you wouldn't be feeling to negative being in that spot.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

True but we've had 2 bad losses in the same week which makes it even worse.

I once spent a year in Adelaide, I think it was on a Sunday.

Teams that looked very unlikely to win the GF.

Granted the Hawks finished higher, but who put money on them against Geelong? The last few years have exposed how lucky they may have been that the deliberate rushed behind rule had not been introduced that year.

Is it a coincidence that Gardiner seems to play better when King doesn't play?

Thought his game was fantastic, he seems to stand up when it's left on his shoulders.

Agree, and I thought that before he started kicking goals as well. Not sure if it's related to King, but good to see him find some serious form in that game, I'd definitely name him in our best.

Love to see him to that to his old team next week!

Positives: we could have won albeit out of form & without two of our best players. Monty, Lenny, and Dal got plenty of the ball and tackle.

Heyne looks ok with the balll going forward.

I remember Jones, Koz and Blake missing directly in front of goal. Sorry that's not a positive, just annoying.

Optimistically, I hope this shuffling about inadvertently creates an extra dimension to our game.
