Gibson ahead in his progress from surgery

Related article on Josh Gibson being ahead on his progress and return from his operation which he had the day after Roo.
Can we hope or anticipate that Roo is actually ahead with his progress as well but not reporting it but taking care and ensuring there will be no setbacks if he rushes to hard.

Two totally different people.backit wrote:Agree that Roo is two weeks ahead according to reports, the Gibson article actually has him (Gibson) 3 weeks ahead with his running so could we expect that Roo is really further ahead but being cautious?
People do tend to heal at different times.
Just be grateful that he is a couple of weeks ahead of scheduled and has started running again.
Lance or James??
There comes a point in every man's life when he has to say, "Enough is enough." For me, that time is now. I have been dealing with claims that I cheated and had an unfair advantage in <redacted>. Over the past three years, I have been subjected to a <redacted>investigation followed by <redacted> witch hunt. The toll this has taken on my family, and my work for <redacted>and on me leads me to where I am today – finished with this nonsense. (Oops just got a spontaneous errection <unredacted>)

True. But this type of injury is relatively rare. So that the two of them are progressing well is for me a re-assuring sign.joffaboy wrote:Two totally different people.backit wrote:Agree that Roo is two weeks ahead according to reports, the Gibson article actually has him (Gibson) 3 weeks ahead with his running so could we expect that Roo is really further ahead but being cautious?

.
Be ironical if they are both back for their first game in Round 17 and play on each other.

When these guys get back is not the most important thing!
The most important thing is what they do when they get back!!
And for how long they do it!!!
Gibson may well be ahead however that may be because he is coming back too quickly.
Happy to rely on Nick & our medicos & fitness guys to set the timetable.
Besides Gibson needs to be back quicker as his season is likely to end a month before Nick's

I would rather wait.bigred wrote:He will be ready when he is ready.
And I for one cant bloody wait.
The team can make it into the finals without Riewoldt.
Two of the best four teams will play in the grand final because the next four aren't as good.
Finishing eighth has no hope if you are the 8th best team.
Finishing eighth does not matter if you are one of the two best because you will win the first two games and make the preliminary finals anyhow.
Riewoldt's return will make St Kilda one of the best two.
