The whipping boys Zac, Raph, Mini, Schneider and Geary will be given every chance.
In McEvoy and Armitage/Eddy
Out King and Steven
Stanley and Heyne just teasers, neither playing well enough, would have been named in 18 if intention was to play.

Since when were Mini, Schneider and Geary whipping boys?dcstkfc wrote:The whipping boys Zac, Raph, Mini, Schneider and Geary will be given every chance.

Your second point about intention is far off the mark. Why would a club give extra advance note of a debut when they can just name them on the bench?
For what it's worth, Armo and Mac come in.

Why don't you ask the club, they've did it with Heyne last week. Would be very surprised to see two guys who have not set the world on fire at VFL level included, but I've been surprised before.Saintsfan wrote:Your second point about intention is far off the mark. LOL!!!
What's that about a "SPERT" being a drip under pressure!!
surely we aren't under that much pressure at this stage ....anyway keep the faith folks and expect a red hot go this week!!

Ross also implied in the media today that we would go with a more traditional forward structure and stop robbing from the backline and midfield. That suggests to me that either Stanley or Heyne comes in a a marking forward to support Kosi.saintsRrising wrote:So with Ben being an IN, that is three of:

I agree. I think one of them will play which means either Clarke or geary will be out. I would prefer Clarke at this stage. We are to tall down back as it is.Statsman wrote:Ross also implied in the media today that we would go with a more traditional forward structure and stop robbing from the backline and midfield. God help me I agree with Plugger. I think after Ross came out in support of Raph in the media but qualified it with "he needs more consistency" my gut feel is that Raph is about to get a run with Sandy.plugger66 wrote:I agree. Gwilt does not qualify due to his background being New Guinea.

What's the odds on us playing a first gamer this week? Would not like to bet my house on it. I see Dawson is playing again Some players are just about unstoppable, looks like Zac comes under the heading undroppable. I wonder what the record is for concecutive games by a Saint player, who knows, he may well break it in time.
