Do you reckon he would come in for someone like Geary?#1GILL wrote:Wouldn't be suprised if we see Heyne debut this week.
I can't really remember to much of the NAB cup but here he does alright.
What about Stanley. He was emergency on the weekend. Why wouldn't he come in for a trial at CHF. We need to change things up a bit. Putting Dawson in the forward line worked on him being able to provide a target but let the team down by kicking only 3 points.
Even though Mcevoy is a little slow at times I reckon he wouldn't be too bad a target at Full forward as he can take a grab and has that Raw bone look to him that he would be a handful.
Only problem is if he has someone like Hurley or Fletcher who might out pace him.

The more I think about it, the more I reckon the whole team thought they would get an easy win the other night and suffered the consequences. I dont think there will be any, or lot of changes this week, but I think RL will be putting a few players on notice to get it happening against the Dons. We need to be giving big Macca more game time, and I expect King to make way for him, and possibly Eddy or Peake to replace Steven.

Well I'd say Armo & McEvoy are definite INs and King is a definite OUT.
Beyond that it becomes more difficult though clearly at least another 2 will need to be named tonight. One would assume that will come from Stanley, Peake and Eddy with Heyne and even Gaernter possibilities.
As for the final 22, well I suppose that depends on how The Lyon Sleeps Tonight

Tonight
in: macca, armo, stanley, heyne
out: king(inj)
final side
in: macca, armo, heyne
out: king (inj), mini, geary/steven
They will give zac a few more weeks and if stanley keeps pushing then a game against the crows or tigers might be the go.
need armo back in for clearance work, heyne gives us that medium forward option and is very close. Work the thre rucks through the forward line with the two half forwards in heyne and clarke.
So funny looking at certan people's posts, they just put in the same players each week (usually zac or clarke).

By the sounds of these articles it seems as though Ben McEvoy is a certainty to come in for King. Zac Dawson won't be dropped. And someone new will be given a go up forward to support Kosi.

I got that vibe as well, made it very clear Fisher and Dawson will be playing in defence, Kosi up forward, McEvoy in the ruck...Beno88 wrote:By the sounds of these articles it seems as though Ben McEvoy is a certainty to come in for King. Either Goddard will play FF, or they will bring in Heyne to support Kosi?

Haven't we got a guy called Goddard that can do everything and anything, why not put him at CHF put Kosi in the ruck swapping with Gardiner at FF , Kick Dawson, Blake, Clarke, & Baker out on the street. Play Gilbert at FB. We still have Gram, Monatanga at HB (Fisher as well)with dal, jones, eddy, armitage and hayes in centre. Add milne, schnieder, geary, steven and possibly peake to the forward line and all we need is to play like the other 15 teams in the comp and id back us in anyday. Ps. Give me John Longmire any day!
