Who is our annoying little running shyte???
Bloody Rodent did us number against Port and now this week Gartlett (Number 38??) for Carlton kicked several goals with a lot of dash to do plenty of damage in the middle part of the match.
No doubt, Essendon's mosquito fleet will have a big impact next week, and Leon Davis when we play Collingwood.
But where is our pesky little runner that plays without fear, but with plenty of flair?
I know it's not part of Ross Lyon's "structure" to have that type of player, but it's badly needed at the moment.
Boy, do we miss Andrew Lovett! He almost would've fitted that mould.....but where is the alternative now???

Exactly, god how amazing would he have been for us had he not destroyed his life and career? Costly..saintspremiers wrote: Boy, do we miss Andrew Lovett!

I'm pretty sure Milne would be a more feared small forward by opposition teams than any of the blokes mentioned in the first post.

man. u guys are so literal. i think the posters lament was valid. hes just being efficient.markp wrote:Yup, he's currently preparing for a criminal trial.
If only....
much quicker to write "lovett" than "new indiginous outside pacy creative goal-kicking recruit" every time he wants to make a point about what we are missing.
doesnt matter that it was u know who- the point is everyone has known for 2 years we need that TYPE of player. just turns out we got the wrong guy.

When was the last time Leon Neon did anything against us?
By the way, Milne and Schneider have cut up a few teams this year. How do they not fit your criteria?

We struggle with small forwards IMO. Betts always plays well, even in losing sides.
Maybe this year?
