Will The Umpires Be Disguised?
Adrian Anderson, the chief of corruption at AFL, has found a new way to help the AFL's favoured teams.
The new tactic saved the Dogs from being beaten by Melbourne.
What will St Kilda do when the umpires come out disguised as St Kilda players.
Will the St Kilda players handball to the player outside the pack who is disguised as a St Kilda player but is really an umpire.

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.
When I was a young child, I knew that I knew so much about so much.
Now that I am old and know so much more, I know that I know so much about so little, and so little about so much.

And you are sometimes a clueless twit plugger!plugger66 wrote:Another excellent post Ace. You really are a Joker.
So you think it's OK for the AFL to be that DUMB as to overlook the jumper clash on Friday night?
FFS they knew that Melbourne would be wearing pink and blue - it's not like it was a secret.
Anderscum is either a friggin overpaid clown that isn't funny or, as Ace has suggested, a corrupt arsehole.
Take your pick buddy.

A third tier lawyer who didn't quite make it to the top !!
NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!
AFL have admitted there mistake, thing that baffles me is that Melbourne knew that the umpires were wearing that colour before the game and did not forsee the problem and request a change, Approved it in favour of the charity etc and may have paid the price. Poor decision from the Dees.
Maybe this year?
Yep because it makes sense that the AFL are corrupt against Melbourne. You know that makes sense and dont argue it.saintspremiers wrote:And you are sometimes a clueless twit plugger!plugger66 wrote:Another excellent post Ace. You really are a Joker.

according to gary lyon melbourne knew on monday, pointed out the problem, AFL said that don't worry the umps will have white socks and wont clash. No-one passed this on to anderson so he pretends that they never knew....rexy wrote:AFL have admitted there mistake, thing that baffles me is that Melbourne knew that the umpires were wearing that colour before the game and did not forsee the problem and request a change, Approved it in favour of the charity etc and may have paid the price. I remember a few years ago at an intra-club match at Moorabbin we had our "red" team versus our "black" team.
Now...In an intra-club match where the team wears red, white and black, you think the umpires would turn up in yellow or green but no...Our officials turned up in...RED. They had to borrow safety vests for the evening.
Smart lot that umpiring department!

I think the fact of the matter is that we have a multimillion dollar sport, that aspires to be a true national, and even sometimes international, game, that is run by rank amateurs.
You know what they say about conspiracy versus stuff-up.
The trouble is that we continue to live under the misapprehension that no-one could be that incompetent.

Spot on Solar, classic example of people recognizing a potential issue but not reacting, happens in all kinds of business. Hardly a conspiracy though.Solar wrote:according to gary lyon melbourne knew on monday, pointed out the problem, AFL said that don't worry the umps will have white socks and wont clash. Surely they were humouring us if they thought white socks, which they didn't wear, would make a difference?Solar wrote:according to gary lyon melbourne knew on monday, pointed out the problem, AFL said that don't worry the umps will have white socks and wont clash.
