He will only get better and better, anyone know his TOG stats?
If he could get up to a 80+% TOG player he could take it another step further...

He's kicked nearly 30% of our score and had 7 tackles.rexy wrote:Thought it was probably his worst game for the year, just couldnt get hads on the pill enough IMO. Not sure of his time on the ground or in the middle, looked to be forward at times, not sure thats his gig.
Not sure who his direct opponent was, but imo opinion he's had a big impact on the game.

Interesting that he is getting around the same amount of time as Ball was, I guess this is a rotation based decision to keep our second in and under midfield fresh so that they can take the number one role when Lenny is off...wraiyth wrote:69% tonight which is around about his average.Armoooo wrote:He will only get better and better, anyone know his TOG stats?

But I just feel that having Armo on the bench for 30% of the game and King and Gardiner 50% each is just wasting too much bench time...

Im sure, he couldn't.Leo.J wrote:2 Goals, out of 7.
7 tackles, and 10 possessions.
Not too sure Luke Ball could have doen that...
Armo sprinted from the pocket where he created an option for Kosi, to the goalsquare where he kciked the goal.

Judging by Ball's form this season I think we already couldBeej wrote:When he gets up to 92% we could say he contributes twice as much as Bally.Armoooo wrote:He will only get better and better, anyone know his TOG stats?

I really think that he is making a conscious effort toward good finishes. Maybe a few people in his ear after his fadeout last year against the Hawks whereby he had 3 sublime qtrs and then was gone for the last.saintsRrising wrote:Importantly Armo seems to bea very good last quarter player. Was great against Freo.
He really helped ice the game for us tonight.

Luke Ball would have got 20 more possessions, and we would have lost because he wouldn't have kicked a goal.
However, I think those two goals may have saved Armo from being dropped in favour of Gram, who I think we are missing big time with that extra run and pace out of defence.

Except for the sanity nothing much has been lost.

I was really happy with Armo's game.
We turned the ball over too much and almost gave the game away.
But we saw some brilliant performances from the midfield that, firstly, kept us in the game and, then allowed us to grab the 4 points late.
I thought it was an excellent perfomance by Armitage.
I didn't see any mistakes, he laid some great tacklesd and he kicked enough of our total score to be very important.
