I gotta admit, there were times when I was watching this game and I was asking myself, has this bloke became an A-Grader?
Kudos to SainterK and her fellow football visionaries who back Jimmy when most of us had given up on him...

Not to mention his speed bursting out of a pack.saintspremiers wrote:Some of Gwilt's movements and evasive skills were almost Dal-like tonight.
He is willing to take the game on!!
The biggest highlight for me is that a couple of years ago if he made a few mistakes early his head would drop and he would struggle for the rest of the game. Tonight he got off to a shocker of a start and then turned it around and was one of the best.

always loved him. even last year - the only real negative/criticism was he didnt get involved enough which was probably a bit of a confidence thing. but when he did get involved he rarely if ever made a mistake.
now hes doing what he did well last year but much more often. certainly getting more confident and reading it better and getting involved.
really stepped up now. expect to see him every week for the next 5 years from now on.

You just can't have all those attributes and not make it....I am just so happy for him that it's all come togetherArmoooo wrote:I gotta admit, there were times when I was watching this game and I was asking myself, has this bloke became an A-Grader?

Credit to the fitness staff who I think have changed his program this year, he seems to be running out the games so much better.
Spot on CG... had a lot of supporters on his back last year because he didn't get x amount of kicks per game or y amount of goals... but as a third tall, thought he was very good for our structure through first half of 2009... pretty hard to have a big impact playing this role (similar to what a lot say about McQualter)... really rapt for him that he's delivering again this year.Con Gorozidis wrote:always loved him. even last year - the only real negative/criticism was he didnt get involved enough which was probably a bit of a confidence thing. but when he did get involved he rarely if ever made a mistake.

No doubt - has come on leaps and bounds and is taking the game on - loving it when the ball is in his hands - beautiful kick and seems cool under pressure - will only get betterdcstkfc wrote:You really do feel confident when the Patchwork Quilt has the ball in his hands these days. Well done Jimmy!
