Goddard's Elbow on Johnson ?
Didnt look great on the replay & obviously they will have a good look at it at the match review.
Just hoping it was in the neck rather than the jaw/chin area .

Reprimand hopefully. Nothing in it, but reckless and high.Nick_Stone29 wrote:Didnt look great on the replay & obviosly they will have a good look at it at the match review.

I'm gonna say it, has to be close to one of the most overated/worst 300 game players ever.....
Maybe I'm way off, but I've never seen him do ANYTHING that i've got stored in the memory bank, like I do with all the other 300 gamers and/or legends of the game, that reminds me of how great a player he was.
The fact is, I've never seen him as a great player, only a durable one.

He's the only player in the history of the game whose 300th game was honoured by the creation of a new (alas, now little-used) forum on Saintsational!!The Saintsational Man wrote:Seconded.....kosifantutti23 wrote:Was Johnson playing?

Back on topic, if I were Goddard, I would argue that raising my arm was a reflex action. Johnson lunged straight towards him at considerable pace, apparently looking for some sort of contact.
I'd be surprised if anything came of it.

Hit him upper chest and his forearm slid up to under his neck. No biggee.

That would be two free kicks in succession, I assume.felixleo wrote:Johnson could possibly get two for staging.

Incorrect.
Johnson was a superstar in his prime.
