Great guy, I was lucky enough to be allowed in the rooms as a kid when he was playing, and without fail he'd always come over and say hi and give me a pat on the head. Had the duffle coat with Number 1 on the back and his badge on the front.

A terrific guy, always had time for his fans and sadly missed.

RIP Trevor.

+1 Me too Sainterman!
He was what kept me going and watching the Saints during the 1970's he had his heart and soul with the Saints(Strength Through Loyalty)and during those years we didn't win to many, but just waiting for Trevor to take a speccy, which he took quiet a few was the highlight of many games.
It was the likes of players like Trevor that made me proud to be a Saint, every home game at Etihad I always stop and say hello to Jack Barker and his wife Evelyn, to me the spirit of Trevor is there with us at all our games.

Pretty sure we played the bulldogs at the time of his death when they released his pigeons out at Waverley. We play the bullies again this week

RIP TB - my all time favourite player.

As a relative newcomer to the Saints family I would like to also visit Trevor Barkers grave and pay my respects, but sadly I don't know where it is. I love to chat and say hello to Jack and Mrs Barker at our home games, and feel very humble when He says to me "Get 'em revved up mate" My respect and sympathy goes out to them at this time.

Correct. I remember the day well. Unfortunately, it happened on the same day of the Port Arthur Massacre.

I'm pretty sure it was the week before, but yes around the same time. a very sad time for us Tasmanian Saints.

RIP Barks

Definitely was the same day as the massacre, was the second game I ever went to, Buckets kicked 8 and we won by 26 points.

Im a little young to remember well when he played for the saints but it is plain for anyone to see what a talented and inspirational man he was. A wonderful Sainter and a geniune sad loss.

Rest peacefully

He's before my time, but from what family tell me he was something different.

RIP champion.
