Training load?

Post: # 913367Post Kate »

I remember reading during the week that the players were given a light training load, due to the 6 day break / interstate trip.

I personally think that once you take the foot off the pedal at training, it can be hard to put it down again on the field. Skills seemed sloppy too.

Given that we have another 6 day break this week, do you think we should up the intensity at training or keep it light?

Jack steven was certainly looking at having to do a hard session yesterday or today due to the fact he hadn't played on the weekend

I thought that we played the Port game like we finished the Freo Game, Stuffed.

The 6 day break on top of a very taxing game may have left us open to a flat game. Freo also showed signs they were flat and if they had played any other side in the league they would have been beaten soundly.
