Selection Table
Is anyone else confused.
We play for basically 7 years with two key forwards and then we try to rely on none 1 week and 1 that is out of form the next

Re: Selection Table
i think we might be forced to use bj as a forward in riewoldt's absence.SaintWal wrote:Is anyone else confused. We play for basically 7 years with two key forwards and then we try to rely on none 1 week and 1 that is out of form the next
we need a marking target with some sort of goal-kicking nous in the forward line.
Re: Selection Table
IMO BJ is to important in the centre. Stanley or Mc or bothbigcarl wrote:i think we might be forced to use bj as a forward in riewoldt's absence.SaintWal wrote:Is anyone else confused. And Mini has given us a duck egg all year.SaintWal wrote:Is anyone else confused.

How many marks did we take inside 50?
Re: Selection Table
Agreed, posted elsewhere about Mini, Geary and Eddy. Can't carry to many, and peake is still line ball IMOSaintWodonga wrote:And Mini has given us a duck egg all year.SaintWal wrote:Is anyone else confused.

Pace against the dogs will be a key. Steven in. Stanley worth a shot as well, i thought Tippetts height caused lake issues early last night.Griggsy wrote:Will be very interested to see what happens next week. I think a couple of the bottom tier players will be dropped with the 'walk ups' warned they may not have a spot the following week if they do not perform.

Eddy only played 62% on the ground for his 15 disposals and most of those found their mark.
Peake had 18 possessions and played well enough to earn his spot next week IMO
Don't wait for the light at the end of the tunnel to appear, run down there and light the bloody thing yourself!
Re: Selection Table
As I said Peake is lineball the jury is still out. Eddy, to me, does not add much to the mix. Jack Steven has the pace that can break the lines.St Fidelius wrote:Agree with Mini but...SaintWal wrote:Agreed, posted elsewhere about Mini, Geary and Eddy. Geary fumbled an amazing amount, even last week when he got a fair bit of it his handling wasn't clean.
32 was OK but needs to kick those goals like the one he missed from 40 tonight.
There was just no run and carry apart form 13 tonight with Rarren Fay and Grammy out.
Selection should be horses for courses - Kosi dropped marks he shouldn't and gave away soft free kicks, despite the rhetoric and annoyance he won't go out however if players aren't following the team rules they will be dropped.40 is obviously favoured by Ross over 3 currently.

OMG! (And i hate using that expression) but you have taken the words out of my mouth!
I love Geary - But I was abusing the tele something shocking tonight regarding his fumbling.
Fumbled on nearly every instance - the icing was that fumbled uncontested mark on the goal line.
I'm hoping it was only the whether.
Given the amount of panic on the forum right now I thought this topic might have been about replacing the actual selection table.

Given the amount of panic on the forum right now (and this is not very lady like of me) I feel like grabbing the selection table and using it WWE style....battye wrote:Given the amount of panic on the forum right now I thought this topic might have been about replacing the actual selection table.

If it were me i would also drop Zac Dawson but i dont know who to replace him with.
Also, my most furious moment of the night was when King marked, handballed to Lenny and strutted as if he had done a fine job....
A port player, in full view of King, powers (pun intended) past him, straight to the running Lenny and puts his kick under pressure.
Turnover, goal.
f****** LEARN TO SHEPHERD....Its 101 Football and it infuriates me to no end that players, even senior players forget to shepherd.
Im still ropeable over that.

I highly doubt King was strutting aroundSpinner wrote:SaintSimmo wrote:IMO
