Uncontracted Saints players for GCFC
Couldnt find a current thread on this subject, so any info from people in the know would be great.
As the GCFC get to poach 1 uncontracted player from each team at the end of this year, and the Saints so far have been able to re-sign most of our major players ( with Dal and Grammy set to re-sign in the next few weeks ). Which of our players could possibly be out of contract at the seasons end and are vunerable to be stolen to the GCFC lightfingers.
This subject irks me alot as i dont want any of our players that we have put time and effort into to go anywhere.
Can anyone help with info on this?

Gram mentioned in this link

It is believed Dal Santo will agree to a new three-year deal with St Kilda, securing him until at least the end of 2013.
The contract, brokered by leading player agent Ricky Nixon and the Saints, is understood to be "ready to go" and could be announced as early as next month.
St Kilda list manager Matthew Drain said yesterday he was not prepared to discuss any player's contract until it was completed. But it is known that the Saints have now re-signed almost all of their best players beyond this year, with the exception of Jason Gram, who is working through a contract extension

Does that mean Matthew Drain doesn't consider Kosi one of our best players, or the journalist? Honestly, if Kosi ever read the crud posted on this site sometimes, he'd gladly consider an apartment on the Gold Coast.saintbrat wrote:Gram mentioned in this link

id be devastated to see any current saints player put on another teams jumper
just like i was last year when ball clarke and maguire all went their own seperate ways
all i think are great players.. every one says good riddance to ball and ill admit i was one of them. but i look at him in a pies jumper and i still cant believe it it still looks wrong.
i think alot of the reason ppl leave teams are crowd abuse from own supporters on top of better pays etc
im suprised raph clarke actually hung around with all the crap he gets week to week
start embracing our players guys coz you dont know whos going to be on the park next week and what colours theyre going to be in..
least we can do is let them feel the love from the supporters so they feel wanted at the club!!!
could you imagine kosi's crash bash style for another team? or grams quick run towards 50 with a 55m goal to open the game up?
njick dal santo weaving his was around clint jones to get a centre clearance?
sometimes fringe players may n ot hav e a good game ie dawson who is struggling due to prior illness and when youre a small guy matching up monsters to start with.. its a long way to come back from..
stand up for your players stand up for your team and make them feel the love!!!!!!

It's worth remember Chris Judd was famously quoted as staying at Subiaco the year he left. Not saying Armitage is Voldemort the mercenary, but I won't be completely at ease until he's signed, sealed and delivered. Same with the rest of the lads.InkerSaint wrote:You lot have got short memories.
