AFL RESERVES

after watching league teams and liam pickering saying there is a good chance of a reserves comp for every team. it got me thinking about the list. because currently we have 38 on the normal list and about 10 rookies.

so the AFL would need to have some sort of reserves list were each club could get 15-20 players who can only play reserves. but at the end of the season if e.g saints did not pick them up in the draft they were fair game for any club to draft.

if the club chose to keep these players they could put them on the rookie list.

I likey, players that don't get drafted but your keen on, e.g. Geary's brother as sandy at the moment. Development can still be put into them, and they can learn things about saints footy etc, so if we did pick them, like we did Will Johnson, they have been exposed to our brand.
