So is a closed roof when it's 27 degrees outside.

A farken disgrace.

Was WAY to stuffy at the Dome today, why can't Collo or Dimwit the silly pricks just allow them to the roof about 10 metres on warm twilight's/nights during the real season to let some heat out?

It would've made it much more comfortable for spectators.

Really silly not to on a dry night.

There were forecasts of Thunderstorms, and if they did hit and the roof was open, you woud've been calling for blood!

Once the roof is open it has to stay open due to OH&S so I think it is a good call to have the roof closed if their is any signs of rain.

Rubbish.

They have opened the roof before during a game at the A-League soccer granny a few years back. I saw it, I was there!

Forecasts for Thunderstorms eh?

Was there any rain on the radar/vicinity of the Dome?

I highly doubt it!

By the way, were you there today in the stifling conditions?

Yes I was there and it was warm.

Therefore i'm not sure if there was any rain around the docklands. Has been predicted for thunderstorms on sunday all weekend but didn't see the weather today.

Last year in the AFL the roof was open and it rained, they didn't close it due to OH&S and Collo come out and confirmed this as the protocol had changed.

OH&S Pfft.

I remember games in 2000/01 where the roof regularly was opened and closed during quarter and half time breaks.

I lived to tell the tale.

I should make a t-shirt - "I survived the roof opening at Telstra Dome in 2001".

that was correct untill something fell off when they were closing it one day and OH&S now dictates they can't do it with too many people in the gorund..

and while we're at it where was the lighting on the outside concourse pst game near gate 1- dark as all heck anda definite Health hazard..
