Who would you choose...
If you could take any player from the competition and slot them into our lineup? Not trading or anything like that, just imagine you had free reign to sign up anyone starting this week and staying with us, who would you choose?
I'd probably say Matthew Pavlich, the way he's dominated over the years in a team that can barely kick it to him on the full is awesome, he'd be scarily dangerous in a team like the Saints.

It's a really tough one...
Now that Riewoldt is out I would probably say Franklin.
It would be hard to say no to Hodge, Marc Murphy or Nick Nat

No, because Stanley and Ben haven't cemented their places in the comp yet.Armoooo wrote:Could you imagine the Nick Nat/ Stanley/ McEvoy combo in a few years time!!Bernard Shakey wrote:Nick Natanui, because we've never seen anyone like him.

Old enough to repaint, but young enough to sell

Bob Murphy is a bit too injury prone for mine... Not even sure that Misson could get 25 games out of him a season.
Jason Porplyzia would be a great get for us, as would Le Cras, but I just couldn't turn down a superstar or young freak for either of those two.

Having watched Hawks confirm status as bottom four tonight, the only thing they can take away from the game is that Hodge and Cyril are superb players. Both would be terrific additions.
But if left to one, Cyril. Just that little bit of brilliance in attack, zone busting kicks off one step, and the best offensive defender I reckon I've ever seen.
My smokey would be Brennan from the Lions. Just reckon he'd fit.
Of course ABlett would be handy but we already have some pretty decent units running around in the guts and discarding one for GAB doesn't bear think about.

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'

Riewoldt is, for the most part, a foward.degruch wrote:Slow clap for you then.#1GILL wrote:Nic Nat is NOTHING like Roo....IMOdegruch wrote:Never seen anyone like him? Looks a lot like Roo to me. Nic Nat is, for the most part, a ruck.
Riewoldt, whilst being fairly quick for a man of his size, does not have blistering pace.
Nic Nat, DOES have blistering pace, with the ability to run away with the ball from packs at tremendous speed.
Riewoldt is a strong contested mark, but not a great leap.
Nic Nat is an average contested mark, but has a mamouth leap.
