Good to hear Roo sounding positive. I have no idea about injuries and healing time so I cant make a comment that way but he sounded confident.

Workmates not too happy about me listening to it though, I diverted my phone and no one was allowed to talk to me

only caught the tail end, 6 weeks before he can start running again, 2 weeks until he starts strengthening - i didn't hear if he mentioned when he can start playing but it all sounded quite positive (as expected)

Sees no reason he cant be back for latter part of year, all going well.

However, if I see him walking up the frickin crumbling steps at Moorabbin again UNAIDED on crutches, Im going to do my block. Seriously, that was astounding.

Im with you bigred, if he is back fighting fit to play football in the home and away season Im happy for there to be no set time on it.

You can talk about your mancrush on him if I can talk about my girly crush on him too :D

I would take that (as in my reading of it) as in about six weeks they will see how he is going and will then better know how far off he is.

However early signs are ok. But who knows how progress will go...???

Unless the wheels majorly fall off our season, in the meantime I would be 100% happy if the focus is just on getting him up and firing for the finals with enough games running in to find match touch and form.

Absolutely. If anything, I'm glad this happened now and not Round 14

I think your right, no one will really know till some time has passed and we can see how the progress is going

Sorry to be pedantic but is it 6 weeks til running, then once he has done 2 weeks of running he can then do strengthening? Or is it in 2 weeks from now he can start strengthening?
