St Kilda Shoes

Post: # 905877Post markinUSA »

Ok, ok... so here is my idea...
I have a dream that one day I will attend a GF in complete 100% Saints clothes, from head to toe. (No clothing at all like blue jeans... everything has to be 100% Saints colours and preferably all proper AFL merchandise).

Some of you might have seen the post I made last week about the Saints flares that were for sale... They weren't my size but I'm never going to be stopped on my quest. I am not going to be deterred by things like 'the design is in bad taste' either. Bah, humbug.

Well, on this weekly quest, I was on EBay today... I saw a pair of Size 12 shoes. Not my size, but the right kind of stuff.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ST-KILDA-Mens-Co ... 2559f42cc4

Does anyone know a place where you can get these kind of Saints shoes? (My size is size 9 mens).

Iceman helped me last year (thanks!) looking for these kind of shoes, but we weren't able to get a pair. Anyone seen any shops where you can get these?

I suspect that if I am wearing a complete Saints outfit, head to toe, it will help the Saints win more games, all the way to the GF. I'm sure you understand![/b]

Go to an adidas store and design your own.

Just had a look at the link. They are quite possibly the worst pair of shoes I have ever seen LOL

all the more reason to go to an adidas store and design your own.

Batnoe, did you buy them? I think we share tastes in Saints shoes!

Edit: It's things like this that make me realize that I have a different outlook than many other people. Some people say "We can win the flag if Roo gets back, etc... deep down in my heart, I know that somewhere, the clothes fans wear to the big games really count!

The seller on ebay has a size 10 also. Just grab them and wear thick footy style Saints socks!

An old pair of ten pin bowling shoes would do the trick, wouldn't they?

And you could get them in size 12 in honour of our hamstrung skipper!

I have a pair of them also, but they wont let you into many clubs with them on as it looks like you are a thief...

The bowling shoes really hurt after a while though

Fosseys use to sell those. I did try to buy a pair for myself but no half sizes

HOwever, if you look around the shops, red, white and black runners are quite easy to get in that style of runner, no emblem though.

Love your quest though, sounds like the same sort of sick thing I could/might do!!!!! I think those flares were made out of a scarves though, well thats what it looked like to me.

Sainta, I did not see the size 10 ones. Once you posted that message, I went straight on ebay and made a bid on them (I'm leading!)

You made my day. Cheers!

Now for the rest of the outfit... gotta win us that flag, and every little piece helps!

Had to laugh at his RRP, $79, yeah right, about $15 at Fosseys.

No probs Mark. I'm happy to support your cause if it gets us a flag :) I bought a horrible looking necklace at Diva the other day just because it says I (heart) ST KILDA. I'm planning to change the heart to our colours. I'll take a pic of it when I get home and post it up! Might be a bit too pimpin for a bloke to wear though! lol

I also bought a nice set because all the gems were our colours so that one I can wear in public more often!

OMG, I want one. Wonder if they have a web site, they wouldn't have that up here.

I would love to buy some saints jewellery. Something classy and understated I could wear to work and something more out there for when I can get along to games.

Dimmeys were selling these runners a couple of years ago for less the $10.00, sadly Dimmeys is no more. They had some really cheap supporters' gear.
