Bally- "what have I done!?"
It was written all over his face after the game....it must of hit home.
He walked out on us to enter a side full of spineless players, officials that behave worse than the Tennant Creek league in outback NT. A side that wilted under pressure.
He walked out on a club that personified the best of the human spirit tonight. A team that against all odds triumphed, they worked together, willed themselves across the line. And he walked out on them...
When he hugged Lenny at the end I reckon it must of crossed his mind to ask whther he can come back. Wouldn't you if you were in his shoes?

I know some might say its cruel but I couldn't stop smiling and laughing every time the camera was on him.
He walked out, now he gets what he deserves !!! I really hope he is enjoying his Collingwood jumper tonight.

I am excited to stay at St Kilda and this is a great result for the Club and all our fans. I’m proud to be part of the Saints and am pleased to be playing football with the Clubâ€

as much as i thought that when i saw it after the game, on retrospect i think he was just devastated at a loss that they thought they should have won.
as much as we would have loved luke to stay. he was smart enough to see the writing on the wall..all it took was one young midfielder to step up (armitage, steven, geary) to push him out for good. for his own career, probly made the right decision to go.
but i still love giving it to him. he left us. hes one of them. and tonight they lost. im glad he missed his shots tonight..if he'd got them it would have fired the pies right up.

Feel for Bally, I can understand if he wanted to go to get more game time, but sometimes you've got to do the team thing and just play your role.
You were loved by the fans and the club, no one hates him, everyone just gets upset/disappointed when you leave your mates/club/friends, with all the passion/support etc.
It was his decision, so I'll just leave it at that.

I agree, he is a turncoat, its about our club and not about Luke Ball.Sainternist wrote:who cares how he feels! he turned his back on the club. F*** HIM!
He plays for a Collingwood jumper now and he lost tonight, so he can go and cry in his beer along with the rest of his new team mates and feral supporters.
I couldn't care less, maybe I am heartless, but honestly as the saying goes winners are grinners and the rest can go and get ......................... !!!!!

Just saw the replay of the game after getting home from the game. His face says it all....and I feel no sympathy AT ALL..jonesy wrote:It was written all over his face after the game....it must of hit home.

I hope Linen House gave him a nice sheet set because he can finish making his bed and then sleep in it.

Didn't think he had much impact.
The bloke can't kick for nuts.
We are certainly better off without him.
He chose to leave.
Chasing money.
Well good riddance to him.
Hope the rest of his career amounts to nothing!

He could have been referring to his short passing last year.markinUSA wrote:I was lip reading what he said to Lenny... I am almost certain he said "I miss you", which was quite amazing to me if true.

I would have supported him through thick and thin at the saints, I'm not the only one. But he made a decision, albeit a questionable from our point of view and this is what he gets. Little pity for someone who turns his back on our club. No we are not the most successful club, but we have a stack of pride in our colours. I wonder how much pride Luke is feeling at the Collingwood right now.

As with us, he was alright. Pass.
Really, though. The guy can't kick for sh-t.
What did Milney say? Surely someone was on the boundary at the time? Would love to hear...

"The inches we need are everywhere around us. They're in every break in the game. Every minute, every second. On this team we fight for that inch. On this team we tear ourselves and everyone around us to pieces for that inch. We claw with our fingernails for that inch. Because we know when we add up all those inches that's gonna make the f***in' difference between winning and losing! Between living and dying!'
