Inspiring

What a show of character. One for the ages.

I completely lost it when volt when down. Thought it was all over. Thankfully the saints aren't as weak as i am!!

They rallied, and poured everything into it. They erupted in the final quarter and smashed collingwood with the force of 10,000 batallions. Holy crap that brought a tear to the eye.

Well done stkilda football club. What a proud day in our history.

Absolutely brilliant stuff, full of guts, charcter and determination. Had everything thrown at them and still ran out with it in that manner - superb.

One of the proudest nights as a Saints fan.

Great stuff.

Please...let's win a Premiership before GEELONG!!!! (O.k., so we've missed that opportunity...maybe let's win the next one before Geelong????)

Fantastic gutsy effort Sainters, and I've seen quite a few over the years , but tonight was up there with the best of them
To cop everything including the kitchen sink from that lot, then continue on outnumbered and keep them goalless 2nd half tells all
doesn't get any sweeter!

Tonight was a test of character.

The Saints have it.

The Pies don't.

Was amazing. It some respects Roo and then fish AND then Lenny going down was the best thing that could have happened. I noticed Armo, then Geary and then Gwilt all noticeably lift. BJ became a general and Dal was superb.

THis is why we love the footy 8-)

Just watched the replay.
Even more proud of them seeing the tackles and work rate close up.
Fantastic stuff.

Well said, ralphsmith.

Some Collingwood people at half time kept telling me Riewoldt had a serious injury. I feigned indifference because i just assumed they were making it up.

But much as I love Nick (and I worship the guy) and observe his awesome football ability, he's just one player in a really good team.

This game was a real arm wrestle and the 'pies gave everything, but tonight we saw a steely resolve from St Kilda.

This team is ruthless, systematic and merciless in killing off the opposition.

Thank you, boys. I'm so proud of this team!
