Collingwood tactics to stop Roo
From the AFL website:
COLLINGWOOD defender Simon Prestigiacomo, along with Heath Shaw and Josh Fraser will be available to face St Kilda on Friday night, despite the latter pair's absence from the Pies' final training session on Thursday.
Shaw and Fraser did not join the 24-man squad at Gosch's Paddock, but midfielder Scott Pendlebury assured Magpies' fans that both would be right to face the Saints as part of a full-strength team.
“They just had an individualised program inside today and I'd expect both players to play tomorrow night,â€

Luckily our forward set-ups have been tweaked a bit since they left.chook23 wrote:Ball and Max will have input into game set ups
Max will need to lift his game.
The Dees ripped apart the Pies Defence and I am sure our guys will have noted how.
ie keep their defenders apart as they mainly play loose. If you keep them separated they cannot back one another up and you can exploit them.
So I expect to see BJ (and others such as Peake)running forward a lot like last week...and also like last week everyone keeping well clear of Roo as much as possible.
Flying the World in comfort thanks to FF Points....
after tomorrow night max might be content to go back to just building his million dollar houses......saintsRrising wrote:Luckily our forward set-ups have been tweaked a bit since they left.chook23 wrote:Ball and Max will have input into game set ups

The only danger for the saints is that the pies have named a team minus a heap of regulars making hard to plan for. Malthouse loves to set them selves for games like this he loves a big game as an underdog.
You would think without Shaw and johnson they would be a bit light on. But he is a shrew old bugger. Ball would be hurting over the negative media he is getting -I wouldn't be surprised to see him have a blinder against us otherwise he will be a great pick up for the VFL.
Prestigiacomo will probably play on Riewoldt you would think it is only his kicking that would stop himkicking a bag if that happens.
