Definitely better than his pre-season form.

Hey Finna.

Agree, esp with no Fisher.

I'm glad he smashed Tadgh. Game in the balance. 50/50 pill. He launched eyes for the ball and wasted the man in the process.

Even if it may have been a mark...

Reckon he'll be okay.

Neither here nor there. He didnt make many obvious mistakes, however did nothing exceptional (apart from a very nice hit). I think he will improve as his confidence grows as long as the saints does.

It would be good if he filled out a bit...he looks like a player straight out of the Under 18 comp....

Will we pick up a player in the SSP window :?:

Hey Thinline.

Agreed on that bump.

As you say may have been a mark but it was a great message that he sent at a vital point in the match.

He will be solid again this year.

still very suspect on the lead and in the contest

if not for Bradshaw dropping a few his game would have been worse

excellent disposal under pressure

have nothing against Tadgh but it was good to see Zac drop him and attack the ball like that

Got lucky that Bradshaw was very rusty, but wasn't too bad. Loved the crunch on Kennelly though.

Under the rules, Zac should be fine, eyes solely for the ball, struck the ball cleanly, all other contact was incidental.

Under the tribunal, same as any other Saint. Roll a weighted dice.

Ok good then. Just as I expected him to be forgetting stupid practice matches.

I liked his game tonight, why people read so much into pre season games is beyond me.

you make your own luck. That spoil in the last is the type of thing he needs to get back into his game :) bradshaw was a little rusty first up and the times he beat him on the lead the ball coming in was too good. Remember to take into accont midfield pressure when it comes to rating backman. No-one can stop those passes out in front.

I think he will apparently lost several Kilos due to an illness over summer... He looked leaner than last season..

Running himself into form and fitness, Thought he looked poised a few times, and has great delivery with his passes and handballs. He's quick, and tall. Good material.

I thaught he was quite good, should run himself into better form as the season goes on. Playing on a huge, smart and tough foward like Bradshaw and he didnt get beaten by any means, I call that a win

its a time for the nobodies in the club to stand up last night i was happy with dawson did his job.

bradshaws goal was from some freaky pass that beckham couldnt have done himself ( hes one of the best in the world for crossing :) ) especially with that ball

I thought Goodes was trying to kick the goal and got lucky that someone was standing where the misdirected kick ended up.

He seems to get lucky pretty often.
