How many years will we have to put up with Darcy's hatred for the Saints for beating his mongrels in the prelim final.

What the hell is ch 10 doing by having the "we hate St Kilda" fan club doing our games over and over again? Each and every time I am subjected to the verbal dog crap they force on us I am very close to being sick.

As we speak I am making what I would count as my 11th call to ch 10 to complain about the biased commentary which wont do anything but it makes me fell better.

Id almost prefer to have a power drill inserted into each of my ears than listen to those biased tossers again

What I dont understand with Lloyd is why they would employ someone as a pundit who is only slightly less intresting than watching paint dry

The commentators were Dim Lame, Huddo, Walls & Darcy. The ONLY one of this quartet NOT baracking for Sydney was Huddo !!

NEW scarf signature (hopefully with correct spelling) will be here as soon as it arrives !!

OP says we beat the umpires.

Open the other eye, they were equally bad for both teams.

29-18 to the Swans would suggest Sydney got the better.

Lance or James??

Another classic from Tim Lane. "It took the saints until round 20 to lose a game last year. They'll be hard put to get a win in round 1 this year"

We were 3 points up at the time.

Just because they play heaps of rugby in Sydney is no reason not to penalise Sydney for throwing the ball.

But then Demetriou may be trying to make our game more appealing to Sydney's rugby fans.

I didn't realise Demetriou was officiating this evening. Slimmed down a bit.

Personally, I'd love to hear more Saints hatred. It means they, and their pathetic teams, are scared shitless...and so they should be. Death to St Kilda!!! 8-)

Absolutely agree Joffa. In my opinion, you are wrong Bernard.

They were kept in the game in the first half by free kicks. We should have been more than 5 goals up at 3/4 time if the umpiring was fair.

We had the best of the umpiring in the last 10 minutes but the 50 was there for BJ.

The umpires do as they are told by the godfather.

Just after 1/4 time I started counting Sydney's incorrect disposals that went unpenalised. About half way through the 3rd 1/4, and when the count had reached around 10, I got bored and gave up. No use stressing over something you can't change.

Im glad you guys brought this up. I was wondering if I was being over sensitive when I thought that commentators on a whole seemed to be fairly anti Saints. Darcy in particular seemed to be sour.
I noticed to where they brought up about us being hard pressed to get a win in round one this year... the game was no where near over and we were still in front, I mean geez you only have to be up by a point to win.

Most "neutral" supporters seemed to be appalled at the free kicks Riewoldt received.

But the fact is opposition players have to cheat to beat him. They're only choice is to chop the arms and hope the umpire doesn't ping them for it. If they don't get pinged play on!

Sydney had 11 more free kicks than us, with the umpires doing everything in their power in the last 10 minutes to give the swans the win.

Oh also, apparently Riewoldt should be suspended for "diving". Biggest joke in the history of stkilda hatred.

And also they all jumped in saying Nick pushed him first and when the replayed it you could see the Swan playing push Nick first.. a moments silence in the commentary box after that one
