Perth broadcast

Post: # 896523Post battye »

The other topic went a bit off topic... does anyone know when the game is being broadcast on TV in WA?

I can't see any mention of the game on FTA (at all, not even a replay) and when I checked Foxtel I couldn't find it either.

Can anyone shed any light?

Yeah just don't mention The Western Saints. Someone on the committee reckons that the fish and chips are pretty good :?

A bit of social commentary here.

After reading that thread why do people feel the need to engage the internet in sorting out problems or grievances with one another. To everyone else but the persons involved it is kind of funny

i hope this is not taken the wrong way cause the last thing i want to do is upset the apple cart & start another for's & against's after all we all know each other & are good friends because of one thing WE FOLLOW THE SAINTS

i've just spoken to the prez of the swans & they have made arragements with paul higgins who has set aside the veranda for them
the game can be seen live at the karalee starting at 4.10

they sent out a letter to members last week letting them know that this was their new home...she said that they had a lot of feedback & expect a good turnout

they called me a couple of months ago about where we watch the footy & met up with paul at that time to arrange making it their new home

she was most apologetic about cramping our style & hoped we didnt mind if they joined us...told her we would only have about a 1/2 doz there this week (if any) & they have FIRST DIBS with seating etc

they are as happy as pig chyt with their new home & thanked us for recommending the venue to them

a gentle reminder...the swine's organized this get together & its now their home i think its only fair we let them take up poll position

if anyone turns up i'll seeya there ..gunna watch the game & then head off to the casino for a work pyssup

hopefully we'll have a new home ground soon

telecast starts at 4.10

Hopefully I'll be there at the Karalee by start time.......... but I'm at the mercy of insurance assessors at the moment.

Poor me   I got flooded in our downpour last Monday arvo. My lounge room and master bedroom decided to resemble the filling up of Lake Eyre. Had my own swimming pool delivered in my garage without having to order one.....thanks a lot God, but I prefer swimming in the ocean :x :x

Boy oh boy the stench of soggy rotten carpets is putrid. Insurance company have just advised me the assessors should be here late today or sometime tomorrow............. so hopefully I'll be able to get to my favourite seat where the Farren Ray Fan Club meet at the Karalee.............. after the week I've had with the flood just let some Swans supporter try and take my seat

Your mention of the Swans and the flood takes me back to another time and another coach  . My daughters pride and joy (her little blue car) got belted at UWA on Monday when she was in the library. Still haven't got onto the insurance people as they are too busy.

Don't even cryptically mention 'The Messiah' busso mick or we will have barks4eva highjacking this thread   Maybe I can get a few swannies to glide around on my flooded rooms.

Good luck to your daughter in getting onto the insurance company......it sure tests one's patience.

Eventually after a day the phone won over trying to get through online. Online was so slow and kept going down. And when you finally get through, it's not claims staff you are talking to...they are too busy prioritising the claims submitted....... it's staff called in from other sections to help the claims dept out that you have to deal with and their knowledge is a bit limited.

Oh well, it could be worse, I am dry in the back half of my house and atleast I know assessors are on the way............. as long as they are here and gone by bounce down time at the Karalee :P :P :P

It’s cheaper than therapy  and isnt it what a forum is about talking about different opinions on subjects related to the saints ??

Is Perth behind the times??

Is this game being shown on main event? if it is, wont any pub show it?

or is it via satellite where they have to program in?

I am sure most pubs would show it, heck if it is fox, most pubs have it... just ask one

we get screwed up the arze batnoe when it comes to live broadcasts

fox & 10 will both be televising the bris eagles game live (same time as our game)
fox will show our game at fn midnight
unlike the socalled developement states we cant pick it up on pay per view...the only way we can view games live is via satelite from central aust ,hence when there is interference we either get poor reception or no reception at all
very few pubs have the central aust link ....not that dimwit or the networks care
