Lots of ads on Foxtel for the Sydney v Saints game
Aiming at getting the Sydney siders to ANZ Stadium.
I reckon there might be a fair crowd there.
I hope the surface is better than last year.

I saw an add in a paper in Sydney promoting 3 matches for about $40 at ANZ, which included free public transport and a reserved seat to each match!Milan Faletic wrote:Aiming at getting the Sydney siders to ANZ Stadium.

Not a bad deal....might get a few of the Eastern Suburbs mob to trek out to wild wild West!!!

Was at that game. It was the cancer awareness game where they formed the shape of a pink lady in the middle of the ground. So there were a lot of freebies there who didn't really know footy but were there for a good cause. I felt like I was the only one in the crowd cheering. Weird night!degruch wrote:Sydney played very well during the NAB Cup, I reckon they've got plenty of room to 'step up' too...not expecting a win, will be mighty glad if we do though.jonesy wrote:Should be 50+
Was 60 odd the last time we played there..
Will be a really good test for us first up,harder than people think

I bought that when I was living up there. As well as my Saints membership of course.saintspremiers wrote:I saw an add in a paper in Sydney promoting 3 matches for about $40 at ANZ, which included free public transport and a reserved seat to each match!Milan Faletic wrote:Aiming at getting the Sydney siders to ANZ Stadium.

Same. There was a louder cheer when Stkilda ran out onto the ground than when Sydney did..Milan Faletic wrote:Was at that game. Can you access a computer. Go on afl.com.au and you can follow the play and get the radio commentary through your PC. Stats are updated and you get the graphic of how goals were scored, albeit a little slow, but still pretty good.TazzieSaintGirl83 wrote:Guess I will have to get by with radio and updates to my phone.
Ive become the standing joke with my friends on the few occassions Im out when the saints play and I cant watch Im constantly checking the score on my phone
