Seems the contract signed last year by Nick was a pretty good one. Putting him in the top two in the AFL (allegedly).
So glad he signed up early and we don't have to endure all the speculation that he might leave etc, like what is going on with Ablett at the moment.
Nick is worth every dollar the pay him....

I would assume he would be paid a fair amount in the marketing allowance, which while it is included in that figure, is not in the salary cap.
Still, allowing for that, he is very well paid, but worth it.
If you had to name one player you wouldn't to lose for a crunch game it would be him, so he is being paid accordingly.

Yep - not sure anyone would ever complain about what Roo gets. Earns every dollar as far as I'm concerned.saintnick12 wrote:I would assume he would be paid a fair amount in the marketing allowance, which while it is included in that figure, is not in the salary cap.

I did regard Lenny as our most important player. But I think from this year on that it will be Roo.borderbarry wrote:I dont know. I think Lenny may be more important to our team structure.
However in terms of market worth there are a lot more elite mids around than elite CHF's whom are rare.
Plus Roo also has more "marketibility" making him worth more to the club.
So Roo will always earn more than Lenny.
