What caused ZAC to lose weight?
In relation to Zac what seems to have highlighted his past problems
is his apparent EXTREME loss of weight that he gained prior to last season..
Has the Club fully explained that loss?
Looked like a skinny kid again last night.
Has shed many kilos

Read that on the forum........but never any exact cause from the Club#1GILL wrote:I thought he was very ill over the off season, which is a possible cause.
Might just be making that up, though i'm sure I heard it somewhere
AND why has no weight gone back on.
Will be ragged doll if things don't change.

I knew Zac would struggle on Barry Hall before the game even began.
Zac is too small & gives up too easily. Doesn't step up when he needs to. Just goes with the flow.
If Maxy was still playing, I wouldn't doubt him one bit against Barry Hall at all. Boy how I miss Max, he was the best defender.
With Fisher injured, we have basically no big defender left (after loosing Meguire & Maxy). Going to be interesting times imo.
Blake is blake, he always tries, thats why I like him.
Gwilt played really well as is probably the only one suitable to match Hall.
Wonder if Leigh Fisher will get a chance in the backline this year... he's fairly solid.

Zac handled himself better last year WHEN HE WAS BIGGER AND STRONGER............helped his other problem confidence........
confidence (now appears low) contributed by the loss of physical condition is what I am talking about.

Thought most of our list look leaner this year even Roo & Kosi look leaner. Maybe its being handled by fitness staff to help minimise injurys. If that is the case then its good from the injury point of view but certainly doesnt seem to be helping Zac or Kosi. Or maybe I'm reading too much into a practice game!!

I wonder if Lyon has put too much belief in Dawson? to be our best option at full back. But not just Lyon, all the coaching staff, including the strength & fitness guys. The coaching panel sits down and examines each player in detail. I find it hard to believe those professionals could have got it SO wrong. But Dawson's performance says it all. Could it be like Toyota having blind faith in their cars, refusing to believe they are at fault? I hope some clever reporter will put Lyon on the spot & ask the hard question.
What is the hard question? Why is one of last years best Full Backs playing on a FF?overitalready wrote:I wonder if Lyon has put too much belief in Dawson? to be our best option at full back.
