Better get used to our boys being cast in the role of "villains" in games like tonight. It's a reflection of how our culture has evolved from one of being perrenial losers/victims to genuine flag contenders.

The Bulldogs supporters have every reason to be happy this weekend, but there's a L-O-N-G way to go before the business end of the real season is reached.

Hall has had a dream run in a very good side, in a pre-season comp. The real challenge for the Bulldogs football club is to transform the expectations into reality, something with which our club has struggled with over the past six years, and could be on the verge of achieving.

It's going to be a VERY interesting season, and one in which we are not going be seen as anyone's "sentimental favourite"...I say BRING IT ON!!!
