How stupid. They should have just rescheduled it.SteveStevens66 wrote:SEN reporting: Game will go ahead at 7:10 but no public transport and no parking, not just underground but the open-air carparks around the ground are flooded. They are closed as well.

Agree. Even if it is impossible to reschudule a practice game just do it. A very important game. It really matters who watches it.saintnick12 wrote:How stupid. I just think it silly to still have it if its so dangerous around there. And no way of people getting there. I'm staying home myself, but some will still go. What about safety???? Some things are more important than a game of footy

Disappointing that the AFL, nor the club have advised on their respective websites whether the game will go ahead as scheduled or not.
I guess if there's no parking, no public transport, road closures, we could have the teams helicoptered in
Leave all the umpires bar the goal ones!
Edit: Just read on the Herald Sun site that the game will go ahead as planned, however, will start later (how later, it didn't state)

GO SAINTS!
Yep they will play a game if it is unsafe. Victoria is renowned for being out there. That is why we are called the nanny state.saintnick12 wrote:No need to be so sarcastic.plugger66 wrote:Agree.
