Brett Peake article

I liked this...
Upon arriving at Moorabbin, Peake says he was immediately struck by the dedication of his new teammates.
“Probably the one that stands out the most is the professionalism of all the boys, just the way that they train and the way they get up from game to game,â€

I can believe that the Saints have a marginally better set up than the Dockers.
But "I'm impressed at the professionalism of my new club and the dedication of my new team mates" is also just one of those cliches you get in interviews.
I'd really love one day to hear a player say something like "the new club's ok, just like the old club. The set up's much the same: a football club's a football club when all's said and done".
But, like a male deciding to stop the car and ask for directions, it'll never happen!

Yeah agreed, was that really necessary MB?? Sheesh can't a player speak glowingly of his new club without this type of garbage response. It is just possible you know that the StKilda Football Club ARE more professional in their preparation than most other clubs these days. It is not an inconceivable thought!!! And compared to the Dockers - I would hope an ex-dockers player would notice that quite marked difference in preparation.bob__71 wrote:God you're lamemeher baba wrote:I can believe that the Saints have a marginally better set up than the Dockers.

I want to stand for something. I'm a loyal person and I think at the end of my career it will be great to look back and know that I'm a St Kilda person for life.

Remember who you're dealing with here!
mebabble wanted Lyon sacked and replaced with Bundy who he rated as a tactical genius in the middle of 2008!
and don't forget he still doesn't grasp that there was an issue with "training services" which ultimately IMO cost us a premiership or two!
For the first time ever St kilda have a truly professional football department and the difference between now and the previous dictatorship could not be further apart, exact polar opposites, yet it doesn't stop the dumbed down and clueless Thomas flogs from spewing forth their empty headed and vacuous drivel!
DO THE MATHS AND THE SQUARES ARE ALL ROOTED.

basically that his old club was falling to peices and that Freo had everything a player could want at a club to prelong his football life and lead to success ........
