How are last weeks stars going

Agree we have got far to many frees but it will even out in the end. What do you mean fair go. Last week these guys were stars and cant get a kick at the moment tonight. My point is people who got excited last week need to realise why these guys are in the seconds.SainterK wrote:Fair go, another half yet, umpiring has been particularly rubbish.

I want to 10 goals up but I refuse to get excited like some people did last week after one practice game. Sorry for being realistic or does a true Saints supporter have to get excited after one practice game?satchmo wrote:We are playing like crap. No I would rather teach you about the AFL. Obviously you come from a soccer back ground but at least that is a sport so it shouldnt be to hard to get a grasp of the game.satchmo wrote:Oh yes, please tell us all everything. Well Smith has been pretty ordinary but I'm not sure he's gotten too much game time TBH...
Armitage was never going to have a great game after Kirk going over to him... but you must admit it is a pretty good sign that Kirk is been given a job on Armo... he has also managed to get a few tackles so he's still competing.
Stanley hasn't been on the ground yet and McEvoy has been just about the best ruckman on the ground.
So all in all, I think our youngsters are going ok...

Yes I'm sure you know everything about soccer as well, but please teach us one sport at a time.plugger66 wrote:

So, with football, how do you make sure nobody enjoys it? I have this problem that I enjoy watching my team. How do you do it?

Sorry I didnt realise if you say a few guys who people said where going to be stars but havent had an impact tonight and you say it, means you dont enjoy it. Must be real fun watching a side and saying everyone is great every week. Is that what a real supporter does or one who actually doesnt understand the game and just goes with the crowd.satchmo wrote:Yes I'm sure you know everything about soccer as well, but please teach us one sport at a time.plugger66 wrote:

I think Stanley would be leaving you feeling a bit red faced already
For the record though, i know some people got a bit ahead of themselves last week, but nobody has claimed that these blokes are stars...
I don't think anybody could call Nic nat a super star yet but does that mean that eagles fans shouldn't be excited?

Let me explain footy to you plugger, because obviously you don't understand it.plugger66 wrote:

We watch footy to follow the highs and the lows, and to watch the players grow through practice matches such as these. If that's too hard for you to understand, I guess we should just hear from you on Grand final day alright?? you "true saints supporter"
What are you talking about. Didnt you read the posts on Armo last week. And Stanley isnt playing round one but like I have said many a time he will be a real player. By the way I wasnt the one who didnt play Stanley till three quarter time. That was the coach.Armoooo wrote:I think Stanley would be leaving you feeling a bit red faced already
