Surely you mean "never".

I'd find it hard to believe he'd be "suspended" by the club (or by law!) for, say, a season, and then be welcomed back.

i think everton was using "very long time" as a figure of speech. reading between the lines i think mr everton was saying that mr lovett is in a large pile of the proverbial chyte!

I see the point totally that you are making, and probably agree more than I don't.

I guess in some cases if the information is correct then it's not speculation, it's actually fact.

But how are we, the general punters, supposed to distinguish between the two.

I treat this site in much the same way as a local pub. Many rumours, hearsay, etc. is thrown around in a local pub. But that would also be like Bay 13.

Now whether YOU want it to be Bay 13 is another story!! But yes, I see the point.
