Robbo will be interviewing Rossy today- the Lovett question
I saw on the Robbo's blog that he will be interviewing Rossy Lyon today. The Lovett question will be the main topic of discussion. He reckons the interview could reveal more info about Lovett's playing future--but in my opinion, Rossy is preety cagey.
Just wanted to keep people posted.

Re: Robbo will be interviewing Rossy today- the Lovett quest
I think the interview will most likely lead to Robbo being an even bigger tosser when it comes to our team for the rest of the year than he usually is. Some of these journalist don't take the cant discuss it do to legal reasons line very well.sainterinsydney wrote:I saw on the Robbo's blog that he will be interviewing Rossy Lyon today. "i dont want to to discuss the AL issue while police are conducting an investigation. This is a not a matter for st kilda football club at present and is being dealt with outside the club until we receive further notice"
hell just say something like that. or just tell him off the record he aint discussing it so dont ask him as a condition of the interview.

being advertised as a discussion on roo, the grand final and lovett.....will appear tomorrow....Eastern wrote:Many of Robbo's "BIG" interviews end up being feature articles in the Herald-Sun, normally on Saturday. Ross Lyon, like any afl coach would be a "BIG" interview. Exactly as it should be. Anyone who thinks they're gonna get any more than this from the club, whether it be Robbo, the player Association or the fans, have got rocks in their head.saintsRrising wrote:According to Robbo club can basically do little at present as it may "prejudice the case"..
So until something changes Lovett will just stay on indefinte suspension.
Correct...and if there were any startling revelations they'd be partially leaked already to sell papersdegruch wrote:Exactly as it should be. Great articles!!! Very impressive by Ross. He has improved so much over the past year or two in his dealings with the media. The articles were interesting and informative, without giving too much away, especially about things he can't legally talk about. He was never going to give too much away about the Lovett situation. He was firm and respectful, but at the same time not prepared to say anything and gave his reasons. Did confirm he remains suspended until the conclusion of the police investigations.
Also interesting opinions on the Grandfinal, Milne, the Luke Ball situation, and players who have improved and had good preseasons, and possible options for players in other positions (eg Goddard and Dal forward). I have always wanted to see Goddard played more forward. Great to hear that Nick Riewoldt is in full training after two minimal preseasons. He also nominated the same players most of us have nominated as ones to step up this year and challenge for spots - Armitage, Geary and McEVoy.
I'm very glad this guy is our coach - hopefully permiership coach 2010. Can't wait for the season to start.....
